Welcome schert perry family!

We are so excited to finally have all of the Perry/Schert/Sherman/Lester/Ascher/Ferris/MacEwan/Best Friend clans together in Boise! Below are a list of family-only + bestie events over the festive four days. Take a read through, check out the map that shows where everyone will be staying in Boise, and please fill out the survey at the bottom. Rehearsal dinner - Thursday, June 8, 5:30pm-11:00pm

The past four years Brett has been a farmhand at Meadowlark Farm. When we got engaged last June, one of our first calls was to farmer Janie Burns and her wife Lori asking if we could have the rehearsal dinner on their property. Not only did she approve, she gifted us a lamb for the meal! Brett and his Farm Team have been greenhousing all of the goods to be served by our good friends Kris, Kevin and Remi of State & Lemp fame. This will be an incredible evening for family, and a few select besties, to share a meal, give toasts and come together. 

Grape juice (made from our backyard grapes) will be served for the kids and please bring a bottle of something boozy from your state to the meal (Tennessee whiskey, California wine, Chicago beer, etc.) Friends Travis and Mallory have made a Gewürztraminer wine for the meal. The good people at Woodland Empire have made a special wedding beer, the Meadowlark Pilsner, with foraged pineapple chamomile from the Farm.

Shuttles will leave from The Modern Hotel at 5:30pm SHARP and will return in waves throughout the night. Feel free and arrive at The Modern at 4:30pm for an informal cocktail hour. Dress is Farm Formal (aka button ups and jeans). It will be in the 80s and drop to the low 60s by midnight. 

rehearsal/family photos - saturday, june 10

There will be a rehearsal 12:30pm Saturday, June 10 at the ceremony site. Please send someone to represent your family for the rehearsal. Family photos will happen AFTER the wedding ceremony on Saturday, June 10. Please have you and yours at the pop-up park after the ceremony and parade at 8pm so we can get uninterrupted photos. Brett's childhood dance teacher, Diane Gudat will be directing the shots, and our friends Matthew Wordell and Peter Lovera will be shooting.

Modern brunch - sunday, june 11, 11am

To help organize the flow of guests coming to brunch on Sunday, we'd like to have the family arrive at 11am to ensure everyone is seated and has maximum time to eat.

mccall - June 11-14

Following the wedding, any family members are welcome to spend three nights up in McCall, ID - an incredible mountain lake town about 2.5 hours north of Boise. A number of friends have lent us their cabins for free, so just let us know if you have interest, and how many bedrooms you might need. See the below map for details on things to do in McCall as well as the location of everyone's lodging.
